To promote sustainabiliy of supply it is essential that stocks are not harvested to exhaustion. Temporary fishing suspensions are used so that stocks can regenerate.

To achieve this we suspend fishing in some areas and also stop landing certain species. This is particularly the case with our Native Oysters.
